Johnston is an adjunct professor of finance and engineering at Stony Brook as well as the founder of Quantalysis, a quantitative analysis consulting firm. He worked at Lehman Brothers and Citibank, from 1994 to 2007 as a proprietary trader and as a highly rated interest rate strategist (voted #1 in Institutional Investor poll). Prior to heading to Wall Street, he was a research scientist working on defense related technolgies. He has a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stony Brook. |
