Arturo Andrade is currently in a Lean Six Sigma (L6S) Black Belt role is a dedicated leadership role focusing on creating significant and sustained improvement at Nortel. The role adds value by changing the culture within organizations to a Six Sigma based business and the role by applying the tools and methodologies (directly, and through managing others) to problems areas tied to the business unit success measures.
Arturo Andrade’s current role combines my previous experience in Project Management and Software Development for leadership companies such as Nortel (8 years), IBM Canada (2 years) and Periphonics Corporation (8 years).
In addition to his work experience, Mr. Andrade has been Adjunct Faculty since 1999, specializing in the subject of Operations Management at the graduate and undergraduate levels. This class and others have been taught the State University of New York at Stony Brook and at Hofstra University.
Mr. Andrade holds a MS Degree in Management and a New York State Advanced Certificate in Management Information Systems from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, as well as a BS in Computer Science Engineering from Universidad de las Americas, Puebla in Mexico.
