Daniel Basil Kerr has been with Deloitte since 1989. In his current role, Dan is responsible for the design, content and delivery of a number of Deloitte’s global partner development programs, including the Business Perspectives Program at IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland, the Leadership Development Program at Columbia Business School and IMD, the Global Lead Client service Partner (LCSP) Development Program, and the Global New Partner Seminar.  Dan previously served as Global HR Chief of Staff and was also the original project manager responsible for the development and implementation of DTT’s Global Excellence competency model (gEm).

Prior to joining Deloitte, Dan served as the Director of the Business Program at Long Island University’s Southampton Campus and as Executive Director of the World Affairs Council of Long Island chaired by Ambassador Angier Biddle-Duke.  Dan began his business career as a practicing accountant and is licensed as a CPA in New York State.  He received his BA from Southampton College, an MS from the CW Post School of Accountancy, an Advanced Certificate in Systems Auditing from Pace University, and a PhD in Business Education from New York University.

In addition to his management role, Dan also serves on the faculty of the Global New Partner Seminar, the Business Perspectives Program, and the Leadership Development Program. He is also a member of the graduate faculty of Stony Brook University’s School of Business and previously taught at Southampton College, the CW Post School of Accountancy, St. Joseph’s College, and Suffolk County Community College.
