September Events

•    September 3 – Welcome to the College of Business! Meet the faculty, staff and the members of The Business Leaders of Stony Brook, The National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. and The MBA Association during our Town Hall Meeting!

•    September 10 – You can “expect great things” from our guest speaker from Kohl’s.  Stephen Haimeck, Executive Staffing Manager shares the company overview, internship and full-time job opportunities with our CoB students.

•    September 17 – Want to be considered for interviews with top companies and organizations right here on campus? Learn how to submit your resume through the On-Campus Recruitment program. This seminar is required for participation in the program.

•    September 24 – Anthony Musumeci, Chief Marketing Director from Emtec Consulting Engineers, PLLC discusses how and what it is like to market a professional services organization, and the current industry trends affecting the marketing of such services, including sustainability. 

October Events

•    October 8 – Carla Kretschmann, Managing Director, Citigroup Corporate Strategy and M&A (retired) has “The Recipe for a Deal in Today’s Climate.” Join us for a presentation on Community Banks and Private Equity.

•    October 15 – Come dressed to impress with resumes in-hand and network with major companies for jobs and internships at the Job Fair in SAC Ballrooms A and B.

•    October 29 – Please join us for a presentation from the General Manager of Cintas.

November Events

•    November 5 -   Credit Suisse joins us to talk about, “The evolving role and direction of Information Technology within the Investment Bank.”

•    November 12 – “Good people make bad choices.” Come join us as Vincent D. Cullen, CPA, Partner and Donald J.        Hoffman, CPA, Internal Audit Manager from the accounting firm Coughlin, Foundotos, Cullen and Danowski, LLP. , discuss ethics in the business world.

•    November 19 – Stephen Strombelline, Head of Compliance at Bank Paribas in NYC discusses regulatory change in light of recent risk management shortfalls at investment banks.
